EVNNPC fully completed the targets for the first 9 months of 2025

In the first 9 months of 2025, although the North was continuously affected by major storms such as Wipha (storm No. 3), Kaijji (storm No. 5) and Bualoi (storm No. 10) causing severe damage to the power system, the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) still fully completed the planning targets assigned by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN)...

Providing safe and stable electricity give 17 northern provinces and cities

In the first 9 months of 2025, EVNNPC has ensured safe and stable electricity supply, serving socio-economic development and people's lives in 17 northern provinces and cities. The shock teams urgently responded, quickly overcame the consequences of natural disasters, restored power supply to customers as soon as possible, and ensured electricity for holidays, political events, major festivals and peak hot weather.

Specifically, EVNNPC's commercial electricity output in September reached 9.4 billion kWh, up 15.65% over the same period in 2024; the cumulative output in 9 months reached 80.05 billion kWh, up 7.24%, equivalent to 73.5% of the yearly plan (108.9 billion kWh). Power loss remained low, reaching 3.7%, down 0.09% over the same period and 0.3% lower than the plan. By the end of September, 100% of communes and 99.59% of rural households in the area had access to the national grid, contributing to promoting socio -economic development in remote areas.

Implementing the Prime Minister 's Directive 20/CT-TTg on electricity saving, EVNNPC synchronously deployed energy saving solutions. The saved electricity output in September reached 207.46 million kWh, the accumulated output in 9 months reached 1,871.27 million kWh (accounting for 2.28% of commercial electricity), contributing to ensuring national energy security.

Up to now, the rate of EVNNPC's electronic payment customers has reached 98.03%, up 7.8% over the same period and exceeding the plan by 3.03%; revenue through non-cash channels has reached 99.7%. 12/17 units have completed 100% of the elimination of cash counters, with only 1,022 counters remaining in particularly difficult areas of 5 mountainous provinces.

Despite unfavorable weather and construction conditions, EVNNPC still strives to overcome difficulties and focus on accelerating the progress of projects. In 9 months, the Corporation has energized 54 110kV projects and started 35 new projects, including many key projects contributing to improving power supply capacity, preventing overload and meeting the needs of socio-economic development in localities.

EVNNPC is implementing 8 key projects including: GIS-based grid management tools, centralized data warehouse, data analysis toolkits for investment, technical, material and human resource management, and power planning and service management software. At the same time, 6 automation tasks are being strongly deployed such as remote monitoring of transformer stations, applying DMS to medium voltage grids, applying AI in image monitoring, line temperature, developing digital transformer stations and monitoring power quality.

To improve business and customer service efficiency, the Corporation focuses on four main tasks: upgrading the customer care system, applying barcodes to manage materials, converting meter reading data to remote reading, and piloting advanced metering infrastructure (AMI). At the same time, EVNNPC deploys three outstanding tasks: digitizing safety meeting minutes, developing safety quiz games, and applying AI in field monitoring.

Continue to focus on customers and push digital transformation

In the fourth quarter of 2025, EVNNPC will continue to focus on comprehensively completing production and business targets, digital transformation and ensuring safe and stable power supply to serve important holidays and political and social events of the country and locality.

The Corporation directed units to accelerate the progress of investment projects on load sharing, renovation and upgrading of 110kV, medium and low voltage grids, strengthen inspection, handle existing problems, prevent incidents early and remotely, optimize operations and reduce power loss. Technological solutions such as AI, SCADA, NEMO continue to be applied in inspection, analysis, incident management and assessment of power supply reliability.

Work safety, natural disaster prevention and fire prevention have been enhanced; units have proactively developed response plans, quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, and ensured the earliest restoration of power supply to customers. EVNNPC has also resolutely handled violations of power grid corridors, while promoting propaganda on electrical safety in the community.

In the field of business and customer service, EVNNPC strives to fully complete the targets assigned by EVN, improve service quality, strengthen customer care, implement gratitude and social security activities such as "EVN Pink Week", "Lighting up the countryside", free electricity repair for poor households, promote safe, economical and efficient use of electricity...

At the same time, the Corporation promotes digital transformation and innovation, accelerates GIS projects, centralized data warehouses, digitizes bidding and office work; organizes training on AI, data analysis and technology cooperation with large domestic corporations. EVNNPC also encourages the development of self-produced and self-consumed rooftop solar power, supporting customers and businesses towards using green and sustainable energy.

The above efforts affirm EVNNPC's determination to build a modern digital enterprise with smart operations, advanced management, customer-centricity, and actively contribute to the digital transformation process and sustainable development of Vietnam's electricity industry.
