These contents are mainly copied and reposted on personal pages or fanpages to attract views and increase interactions, while the poster has no specific information about customers or electricity bills. EVNNPC affirms that this is a form of taking advantage of people's psychology, exaggerating isolated phenomena of a few customers and providing information without basis or specific data.
Previously, on August 4, the Nat Son Commune Police (formerly Hoa Binh Province) worked with citizen BHV residing in Kha hamlet, Nat Son commune about using a personal Facebook page named "Vu Bao" to post on the "Hong Bien Hoa Binh" page with the content: "I hope the admin will approve the post, I'm so frustrated that I called the electricity switchboard but couldn't get through, the electricity number on July 31 was 7,094kwh but today, August 3, it has reached 7,360kwh, only 3 days but my house has increased abnormally because the electricity company calculated the electricity incorrectly and did not match the actual price to calculate the electricity bill according to the ladder price". Through the process of working and verifying with the Kim Boi Electricity Management Team by the Commune Police, and propagating and explaining how to calculate and close the electricity number on the electricity meter of the electricity company, citizen BHV admitted that due to incomplete awareness and lack of legal knowledge, he posted unverified content that caused mixed public opinion, negatively affecting individuals and organizations.
In the face of the situation of fake news about August electricity bills, EVNNPC respectfully requests customers to be vigilant, to avoid being taken advantage of by bad guys to cause public confusion.
