Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia praised and highly appreciated the results of the Contest and congratulated the authors whose excellent works were awarded; acknowledged the ministries, branches, central agencies, provincial and municipal Party Committees, and press and media agencies for promoting the spirit of responsibility, closely coordinating effectively and successfully organizing the Contest.

In the coming time, to improve the quality and effectiveness of information and propaganda work on seas and islands, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission suggested that agencies and units from central to local levels continue to deeply and comprehensively perceive and spread more strongly and widely the viewpoints, policies and guidelines of the Party and the policies and laws of the State on seas and islands.

At the same time, continue to innovate the content and methods of information and propaganda work, especially foreign information; focus on promoting more the image of the country, culture and people of Vietnam to the world so that culture truly becomes soft power, raising the prestige and position of the country.

Pay special attention to grasping the ideological situation and social mood, promptly detecting and handling wrong viewpoints and acts of taking advantage of sea and island issues, ethnic and religious issues to sabotage the great national unity bloc and the friendly relations between Vietnam and other countries.

In addition, focus resources on digital transformation, improve combativeness, education , and persuasiveness in information and propaganda work about seas and islands; and strengthen effective coordination between forces.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission also suggested that it is necessary to improve the quality of the staff working in information and propaganda about seas and islands; promote the participation of intellectuals, experts, scientists, artists, prestigious people, young people, the business community and forces directly performing the task of protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland's borders and territories, ensuring national security and social order and safety.

With new spirit, new motivation, new determination, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission believes that the information and propaganda work on seas and islands in the coming time will have more positive, creative and effective breakthroughs with higher quality competitions, wider spread, attracting the attention and participation of a large number of artists, intellectuals and people of all walks of life in the country, overseas Vietnamese and international friends.

According to the Organizing Committee, starting in March 2025, after only four months of launching, the National Art Photography Contest “Fatherland on the Shore” has attracted 15,770 photos from 3,514 authors from 34 provinces and cities across the country. Along with the increase in quantity, the quality of this year's works has also been significantly improved.

The jury selected 150 outstanding works to display at the Exhibition, of which 22 best works were awarded (2 First Prizes; 4 Second Prizes; 6 Third Prizes and 10 Consolation Prizes).

The works reflect the beauty of nature and people of the sea and islands through new angles and precious moments; demonstrate the spirit of work, creativity, and aspiration of the people and their mark in protecting sovereignty, developing the economy and society, and strengthening national defense and security.
