This is the first time the event has been held in Hanoi , attracting the participation of a large Indian community, students, experts, international friends and residents of the capital.
The event in Hanoi was attended by Mr. Dang Thai Binh , Director of the Center for Indian Studies (VCASI); Ms. Phan Lan Tu, President of the Hanoi Vietnam-India Friendship Association (HAVIFA); Mr. Truong Quang Hoai Nam, former Deputy Head of the Central External Relations Commission; and representatives of agencies, organizations, sports clubs and university students.
Viksit Bharat Run 2025 is one of the main activities of the Seva Pakhwada (Celebrating the Spirit of Dedication) program, taking place from September 17 to October 2, implemented in more than 150 cities around the world .
With the theme "Run to serve the Fatherland", the event aims to spread the message of community connection, promote the spirit of physical training and sustainable development.

In Hanoi, about 200 participants ran 3km in an atmosphere of excitement and solidarity. Along with that, the athletes also performed a ritual of spiritual connection with the Indian community around the world.
Also within the framework of the program, on September 24, the Indian Embassy coordinated with relevant organizations to organize a tree planting activity called “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (Planting trees for mother earth) at the University of Water Resources, responding to the initiative for a green environment and sustainable development.
The Viksit Bharat 2025 Run in Hanoi, along with a series of global activities, has become a meaningful opportunity for people-to-people exchange, contributing to strengthening the Vietnam-India friendship, while expressing the message of solidarity, social responsibility and aspiration for sustainable development.
