Enjoy the performance "Heritage Footsteps" at the World Cultural Festival in Hanoi 2025

Performed within the framework of the World Cultural Festival in Hanoi in 2025, the fashion show "Heritage Footsteps" took place on the evening of October 11 at the Central Stage of Thang Long Imperial Citadel, creating an artistic highlight that brought many emotions to fashion and heritage lovers.

The show introduced to the Vietnamese and international public nearly 100 traditional costumes from various countries, with the participation of many famous faces such as: supermodel Ha Vy, actress Quynh Nga, Quynh Kool, model Vu Hanh Nguyen, musician Giang Son, beauty queen Tran Bao Ngoc, international ambassadors... This can be considered the richest and most magnificent international national costume performance ever in Vietnam.

With the guidance of MC Kim Nguyen Bao and MC Khanh Vy, "Heritage Steps" takes viewers "through time" through many countries to discover the beauty of culture and heritage. With experience in staging large-scale shows, director Hoang Cong Cuong has brought stature to "Heritage Steps" by combining eye-catching performances with 3D mapping technology and modern sound and stage lighting.

As a greeting from the host country on the occasion of the Capital's 71st anniversary of liberation, the collection named "HaNoi in Hanoi " by designer Vu Viet Ha was chosen to open right after the "Silk" dance performance. The medley "Welcome Vietnam - Hello Vietnam - Sila La's Shape" was chosen as the background music for the collection with performances by violinist Thu Huyen, singers Le Trang, Le Anh...

Next is the collection "Heritage in Hanoi" by designer Anh Thu - Ao Dai brand Ngan An, bringing a sweet connection between tradition and modernity. Patterns such as Bat Trang ceramics, conical hats, lotus flowers... reminding of Vietnamese beauty in Trinh Cong Son's music recreated the cultural depth of the capital. The participation of the Ambassadors' wives, Miss Tran Bao Ngoc and models contributed to showing the cultural-heritage bridge between Vietnam and friends around the world.

The art performance "Qua mien di he" was skillfully staged by director Hoang Cong Cuong with a combination of a series of songs imbued with the cultural identity of Vietnamese regions such as "Net duyen Kinh Bac", "Dem hoa dang", "Co Ba Saigon"..., bringing a unique and special performance, both expressing the beauty of Vietnamese culture and the exchange with international culture.

The most impressive part of the program was the performance of traditional collections from 19 countries from Asia, Europe, Africa, and America by Vietnamese and international artists, creating a colorful and friendly festival atmosphere. Through that, international guests also had the opportunity to admire collections of Vietnamese traditional costumes and ao dai, such as the collections "Van Yen Weaving - Mi Xiem Y", "Thang Long - Dau Thoi Gian", "Nguyet Hoa"...

In particular, the charity auction of the show's outstanding costumes and items and artworks brought in 2.5 billion VND.

Notably, the large-scale painting "Ancient Cheo melody and kite flute sound on the golden field" by artist Ngo Ba Hoang, under the enthusiastic bidding guidance of People's Artist Tu Long and People's Artist Xuan Bac, was won by a representative of SHB and T&T - the co-sponsor of the program, with an amount of up to 1 billion VND.

All proceeds from the auction will be transferred to localities affected by floods, to support the reconstruction of houses, schools and public works. This is a meaningful activity, affirming the humanistic value of the event.

Director Hoang Cong Cuong shared that the World Cultural Festival in Hanoi in 2025, attracting the participation of 48 countries, is a place where many stories converge to promote the cultures of other countries. Through this festival, international audiences can better understand the culture and history of Vietnam and this place will open up a travel itinerary for them to continue to explore...
