The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that site clearance for projects is a very difficult and complicated issue that Lam Dong needs to focus on solving. Currently, after operating a two-level local government, the weakness of the commune level is still site clearance.

“Lam Dong will quickly overcome this weakness in the coming time. The locality will strengthen training and development of human resources to organize an effective apparatus for site clearance and remove difficulties for businesses,” Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh directed.
The 2025 Investment Promotion Conference with the theme “Lam Dong: Breakthrough potential, raise position”, attracted more than 350 domestic and foreign enterprises to attend. The conference was held to introduce Lam Dong’s potentials, advantages, and key projects in 2025 and the 2026-2030 period.

At the Conference, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee organized the granting of investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates to 9 enterprises, with a total capital of over 35,000 billion VND. Lam Dong granted investment cooperation agreements and investment memorandums of understanding to 12 enterprises and investors.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that in the era of national development, the first team to develop must be enterprises. This is the leading force in innovation, creativity, digital transformation, contributing to GRDP, creating jobs for workers and contributing to social security.
Lam Dong has potentials and advantages that not every locality has. These are outstanding potentials in industry, renewable energy, high-tech agriculture and tourism. The important issue now is that Lam Dong must think and calculate carefully its investment attraction policy.

“We must change our mindset and innovate in introducing, promoting, and calling for investors to come to the province. Localities need to focus on investing in digital infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure and digital infrastructure to connect regions and attract investment to the province. In investment, the province determines to focus on key and focal investments, avoiding dispersion of resources,” Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh directed.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, in administrative reform, localities need to be more open and transparent. The openness and closeness of provincial and communal leaders is the measure to attract businesses. The province needs to remove difficulties for projects to free up resources. If Lam Dong can do it, that will be the answer for businesses and investors.

“Businesses need to carefully study the potential and business environment in the locality to make wise decisions in choosing investments. The answer to the Provincial Party Committee’s leadership capacity is measured by the number of businesses coming to Lam Dong,” Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh affirmed.
At the Conference, businesses and investors frankly discussed the difficulties and obstacles in the production and business process. Many solutions to create favorable conditions for businesses and investors were also proposed by businesses, especially large corporations.

In particular, businesses suggested that Lam Dong needs to thoroughly grasp the spirit of "hot above, cold below" in performing public duties, especially in resolving administrative procedures for businesses.

The locality specifies the orientation of investment focusing on the tourism sector, aiming to build a prestigious tourism brand. The province accelerates the completion of inter-regional transport infrastructure to support investors. The land sector needs to step up the determination of land rental prices and related financial obligations...

On the VCCI representative side, Lam Dong needs to respond quickly, make decisions to keep up with trends and business decisions of enterprises. Avoid making enterprises wait for local administrative procedures. The province focuses on the process of implementing policies close to reality.
Concluding the Conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi affirmed that the conference had met, shared, and granted decisions on policies and memorandums of understanding on cooperation with many businesses and investors in key areas of Lam Dong. This is an extremely important result, demonstrating the business community's confidence in the investment environment and the support of the provincial government.

Lam Dong has a lot of potential and strengths. To develop them, the locality really needs the support of businesses and investors. Today's conference is not only an opportunity to promote the image, potential and strengths of the province, but also affirms the determination of the entire political system and the people of Lam Dong in creating an open, transparent and friendly investment environment.
“In the process of development, Lam Dong still faces many difficulties. Solving problems for businesses sometimes and in some places has not reached the final result. However, with the affirmed commitments, we will continue to accompany, listen and provide maximum support so that projects can be implemented quickly, effectively, in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring the harmony of interests of the State, investors and people”, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi affirmed.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that solving difficulties for businesses cannot be done in a day or two, but there are problems that must be solved one by one. In the spirit of doing easy things first, difficult things later, Lam Dong will accompany businesses and hopes that investors will understand and share.
However, in addition to the province's efforts, businesses need to improve their responsibility in implementing projects to avoid delays. The government and businesses should share with each other for the common development goal.
