Gyeonggi will support Ha Nam to promote investment in Korea

In the coming time, the Gyeonggi Provincial Council will continue to promote and introduce Ha Nam 's investment environment to businesses of Gyeonggi Province in particular and Korea in general, and at the same time support Ha Nam Province in organizing investment promotion events in Korea.

On the afternoon of December 27, a delegation of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council (Korea) led by Mr. Yom Jong Hyun, Chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, visited and worked in Ha Nam province.

At the meeting, Ha Nam Provincial Party Secretary Le Thi Thuy said that since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation (in 2017), the friendly and cooperative relationship between Ha Nam province and Gyeonggi province has developed increasingly deeply, practically and effectively in all fields. The two provinces have arranged specialized agencies to act as focal points to maintain information exchange activities and organize many visits and working sessions.

Gyeonggi Province has provided material support and actively assisted Ha Nam Province in organizing investment promotion activities in Korea, thereby contributing to attracting investors from Korea in general and Gyeonggi Province in particular to learn about and invest in Ha Nam Province.

Currently, Ha Nam province has 370 FDI projects from 13 countries and territories, including 150 projects of Korean investors with a total registered investment capital of about 1.7 billion USD. Korean enterprises have made many important contributions to the socio -economic development of Ha Nam province.

In the coming time, Ha Nam hopes that the Gyeonggi Provincial Council will continue to support the province in promoting and introducing to the people of Gyeonggi province the land of Ha Nam, rich in cultural traditions and many scenic spots; introduce the investment environment of Ha Nam to businesses and investors of Gyeonggi province in particular and other localities of Korea in general; support the province in organizing well visits, working sessions and investment promotion activities in Korea in 2024.

The two localities continue to maintain regular communication, information and exchange activities to further develop the friendly and cooperative relationship.

At the meeting, members of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council delegation highly appreciated the economic development and investment environment of Ha Nam province as well as the cooperation between the two localities in recent times. The delegates focused on discussing and proposing many solutions to strengthen the cooperative relationship in economic and social fields between Gyeonggi and Ha Nam in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council Yom Jong Hyun said that since signing the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, Ha Nam province and Gyeonggi province have organized many meaningful activities.

In the coming time, the Gyeonggi Provincial Council will continue to promote and introduce Ha Nam's investment environment to businesses in Gyeonggi Province in particular and Korea in general; support the province in organizing investment promotion events in Korea. The two localities will also increase exchange activities not only in the economic and investment fields but also in the cultural and social fields.
