Hai Duong improves speaking skills and provides information to the press

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Quang Phuc, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, emphasized that the promulgation of the Regulation on speaking and providing information to the press in the province has contributed to raising awareness and responsibility of leaders of agencies, units and authorities at all levels in providing information to the press, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of information and press activities and strengthening state management of the press.

To effectively implement the Press Law and Regulations on speaking and providing information to the press, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested the Department of Information and Communications to continue to coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Journalists Association and relevant agencies and units to strengthen the work of directing, guiding, providing information and propaganda to press and media agencies in the province.

The provincial departments, branches, and sectors and the People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns shall appoint spokespersons and provide information to the press, carry out the speaking and providing information periodically or in emergency cases in accordance with regulations. Proactively contact, dialogue, and organize press conferences to provide full information on incidents and current issues that are of public interest.

At the conference, delegates listened to Deputy Director of the Press Department ( Ministry of Information and Communications ) Nguyen Van Hieu disseminate and thoroughly understand legal documents related to information and press activities and speaking and providing information to the press.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu also imparted on the topic of skills and expertise in speaking, providing information to the press and handling media crises such as contacting, answering interviews, organizing press conferences, responding to the press. In which, he emphasized the activities of the press and media in the context of digital transformation, the migration of the press to digital space, social networking platforms...
