Vietnam Golf Association retains leadership position for new term

Attending the Congress were 73 delegates who are official members of the Association - representing local Golf Associations, organizations and units operating in the golf field, individuals who have contributed to the development of Vietnamese golf, along with 20 invited delegates from state management agencies, partners, sponsors, representatives of groups and individuals with outstanding achievements.

The Congress elected the Executive Board and Inspection Board of the Vietnam Golf Association for the 5th term (2025 - 2030) consisting of 53 outstanding individuals, representing organizations, units, localities and golf communities nationwide with high qualifications, enthusiasm and responsibility, ready to lead the Association into a new stage of development.

Accordingly, Mr. Le Kien Thanh continues to be Chairman for the third consecutive term. Mr. Vu Nguyen holds the position of Secretary General.

In his closing speech at the Congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Golf Association Le Kien Thanh affirmed: “We are committed to continuing to build the Vietnam Golf Association into a professional, transparent, and democratic organization; strongly promoting the development of the youth golf movement; improving the quality of training for coaches and referees; and gradually making golf a popular sport , close to the community."

The Congress also affirmed the determination to innovate management thinking, strengthen organizational capacity, expand domestic and international cooperation, and enhance the position of Vietnamese golf on the regional and global sports map. The success of the Congress is the result of careful preparation, consensus, solidarity, and intellectual and enthusiastic contributions of all delegates.

The Executive Committee of the 5th term expressed the hope that each delegate will be an extension in realizing the goals and resolutions of the Congress, spreading the spirit of solidarity and sustainable development throughout the entire Vietnamese golf community.
