Approval of the Investment Project for the Construction of Dinh Khao Bridge

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just signed a Decision on approving the Dinh Khao Bridge Construction Investment Project under the public-private partnership model.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just signed a Decision on approving the Dinh Khao Bridge Construction Investment Project under the public-private partnership model.

The project's objective is to complete and improve the exploitation capacity of Highway 57, resolve traffic congestion at Dinh Khao ferry terminal, and ensure synchronous connection with the national highway and expressway system in the area.

The project is expected to create a driving force to attract investment and promote comprehensive socio -economic development of the province and the Mekong Delta region.

According to the approved scale, the project has a length of 4.3km, designed speed of 80km/h. The total investment is more than 2,852 billion VND (including loan interest). The project is implemented under the form of BOT contract, with an implementation and operation period of about 20.7 years (including 3 years of construction and nearly 17.7 years of capital recovery).
