According to Professor, Dr. Le Van Quang, Director of K Hospital, Vice President of the Bright Tomorrow Cancer Patient Support Fund: Currently, at the treatment facilities of K Hospital, there are 235 people being treated for cancer from localities such as Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh , Thanh Hoa... heavily affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11. Notably, the above patients' houses, properties, and gardens were all severely damaged and lost when the storms and floods passed.
Continuing to promote the tradition of "mutual love and support"; "the rich help the poor", especially "sharing food and clothes" to join hands to share and support people in areas affected by storms and floods. In particular, understanding the difficulties and losses caused by storms No. 10 and No. 11, K Hospital and the Bright Tomorrow Cancer Patient Support Fund always want to accompany and share with patients in difficult times when they need support the most.
With the above spirit, K Hospital and Bright Tomorrow Cancer Patient Support Fund have supported 235 patients being treated at K Hospital facilities, with a total amount of 235 million VND.

“Through this support, we hope that patients and their families will always feel secure and trust the hospital and the doctors with love and responsibility, with the spirit of not leaving anyone behind. At the same time, we also hope that units, organizations, philanthropists and communities across the country will continue to join hands to support the people of the northern provinces who suffered damage after storms and floods, so that people's lives can soon return to peace,” Professor, Dr. Le Van Quang emphasized.
As one of 235 cancer patients from Thai Nguyen province, patient Tran Ngoc Ch. (73 years old) who is being treated for prostate cancer at the Department of Surgery (Tam Hiep facility) could not hide his emotions: “My family was greatly affected after the recent storm, the flood caused almost all of our trees to fall; the entire first floor was flooded, causing all of our household items to be damaged. Meanwhile, I am undergoing treatment and cannot visit my family, encourage my children and grandchildren to overcome this difficult and loss-filled time, I am very anxious and worried.
Today, the hospital leaders and the Bright Tomorrow Cancer Patient Support Fund came down to the patient rooms to inquire about the health and give gifts to the patients being treated from areas heavily affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11. This not only helps us patients feel warmer, but also encourages us and our families to overcome this difficult period, especially to be able to fight the incurable disease we are facing with peace of mind."
Previously, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, K Hospital joined hands to support 300 million VND to share with people severely affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11. The above amount has been transferred to the Vietnam Medical Trade Union.
