Hoang Tien was formed on the basis of merging 4 communes: Hoang Tien, Hoang Hai, Hoang Yen and Hoang Truong, with an area of ​​nearly 24km ² and a population of nearly 30,000 people. This is a locality with a strategic location and rich development potential, possessing 6.8km of coastline, two rivers Lach Truong and Cung, and Linh Truong mountain range - a diverse natural space, harmoniously combining ecological value and marine economic advantages.

In the period of 2020-2025, the local economy maintained an average growth rate of 7.1%/year; average income per capita reached 77.6 million VND. Hai Tien sea tourism gradually affirmed its brand, welcoming more than 6.18 million visitors, bringing in revenue of 7,400 billion VND. Social infrastructure received synchronous investment attention, many key projects such as the sea square or traffic routes connecting Hai Tien - Linh Truong have expanded development space, contributing to changing the local face. Up to now, 12/27 villages have met the model village standards, creating a solid foundation for the urbanization process.

The above results show that Hoang Tien not only has potential but has been demonstrating the ability to realize that potential into development strength.

By 2030, the commune strives to have an average income of 103 million VND/person. 100% of roads are paved, all schools meet national standards. Over 97% of the population participates in health insurance. The poverty rate is reduced by an average of 0.4%/year. In the period of 2026-2030, it will welcome 7.5 million tourists, with revenue of about 11,250 billion VND.

Along with socio-economic development, Hoang Tien focuses on planning, land management, environmental protection, proactively responding to climate change; synchronously investing in transport infrastructure, irrigation, drainage; promoting digital transformation, building digital government and administrative reform, taking people and businesses as the center of service.
