Bac Ninh plans to mobilize over 7,230 billion VND for new rural construction

According to Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, Phan The Tuan, from now until 2030 the province will mobilize investment resources to improve the effectiveness of the new rural construction program in the area.

Bac Ninh province sets a target that in the 2026-2030 period, over 90% of communes will meet new rural standards; 50% of communes will meet advanced new rural standards out of the total number of communes meeting new rural standards; and 30% of communes will meet model new rural standards out of the total number of communes meeting new rural standards.

During this period, Bac Ninh plans to mobilize over 7,235 billion VND to implement the new rural construction program in the area; of which, the central budget is over 2,221 billion VND, the local budget is over 3,649 billion VND, the capital combined from national target programs and other programs and projects is over 875 billion VND, and the voluntary contributions of people and the community are over 350 billion VND...

Bac Ninh focuses on mobilizing and diversifying capital sources (central and local budgets, foreign capital, cooperatives, enterprises, residential communities, etc.) to implement the new rural construction program. At the same time, promote the mobilization of contributions and sponsorship from organizations and individuals to participate in the program implementation in the form of voluntary participation, not to mobilize too much people and to create outstanding debts in the program's basic construction.

The province will prioritize focusing resources to implement the local new rural construction goals such as: communes meeting advanced new rural standards, communes meeting modern new rural standards, new rural villages, modern new rural villages, smart new rural villages...

From now until 2030, Bac Ninh province will mobilize and effectively use investment resources for comprehensive and sustainable new rural construction, associated with urbanization, ensuring substance, depth, and efficiency, for the benefit of the people; in which, prioritizing resources for production development, improving the lives of rural residents, especially in particularly difficult communes; integrating national target programs, a number of investment programs and policies being implemented in the area. Developing rural residential areas in a green, ecological, sustainable direction, with high adaptability to climate change.

In addition, Bac Ninh improves the quality of emulation movements to build new rural areas; replicates the results of implementing model new rural areas for localities to learn from; strengthens inspection and supervision of the implementation of the new rural construction program in the area...

Actively implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in the 2021-2025 period has changed the rural face of Bac Ninh province.

The whole province has mobilized thousands of billions of VND from the budget, contributions and support from people, businesses... to implement new hardening, upgrading and renovating over 1,690 km of roads, raising the rate of hardening rural roads to 83.5%; investing in upgrading and renovating over 1,300 irrigation works; building new and renovating and upgrading many cultural and sports works, schools, medical stations, clean water, commercial infrastructure, rural electricity...

It is expected that by the end of 2025, the entire Bac Ninh province will have 51/66 communes meeting new rural standards and 432 villages meeting model new rural standards./.
