Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy's journey at Miss International 2024.
Surpassing more than 70 beauties from all over the world , Vietnam's representative Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy won the Miss International 2024 crown in the final night on November 12 in Japan. This result was supported by the audience because throughout the competition, Thanh Thuy was always among the outstanding contestants.
Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was born in 2002 in Da Nang . She was crowned Miss Vietnam 2022. The beauty is 1m76 tall with measurements of 80-63-94 cm.
Thanh Thuy crowned Miss International 2024.
In addition to her beautiful appearance, Thanh Thuy also has an impressive education. She is currently studying at two schools: the University of Foreign Languages (Danang University) and Greenwich University, Vietnam. She has basic communication skills in English and Korean.
During her school years, Thanh Thuy was an excellent student for 12 years. She won many awards such as Second Prize in Literature at the city level (Da Nang) in 2016, Silver Medal in Youth Fashion at the City Spring Flower Festival 2019, Miss Danang University of Foreign Languages 2021, First Runner-up of Elegant Students of Da Nang City 2021.
Miss Thanh Thuy is a student at the University of Foreign Languages, Danang University.
Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy received a university entrance scholarship and is one of 36 people participating in the student exchange program at Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand. In addition, the beauty has a number of talents such as singing, dancing, folding origami, playing badminton and swimming.
During the semi-finals of Miss International 2024, Thanh Thuy said she is planning to learn more Japanese because she loves Japanese culture.
Thanh Thuy can communicate in English and Korean.
At the final night of Miss International 2024, Thanh Thuy was admired by the audience when she confidently answered questions in 3 languages: English, Japanese and Vietnamese.
Responding to the question about the impact of global development on the education system of the young generation, the Vietnamese beauty replied: "I think it is the urgency of the global education system during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have to stay at home, study online. This is a change in the development trend of online education companies.
And I hope students can explore learning opportunities through online education platforms. That supports Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education."
Smart and confident answers helped Thanh Thuy win the crown convincingly.
Miss International is one of the three major beauty pageants in the world, along with Miss World and Miss Universe . This pageant was first held in 1960 and takes place annually in Japan.
Before Thanh Thuy, Pham Hong Thuy Van was the Vietnamese beauty with the highest achievement at Miss International with the 3rd runner-up position in 2015.
In 2023, runner-up Phuong Nhi - representing Vietnam stopped at the top 15 final position.
