Foreign Trade University sent a notice to students about the organization of classes and exams on October 8. Based on the weather forecast on October 8, classes will continue to be held online to ensure teaching progress and create conditions for students in flooded areas or areas with difficult transportation to still be able to fully participate in learning.
Exam classes will still take place at school as planned, to ensure the progress of completing the semester for the whole school.
For students who cannot take the exam due to flooding or other force majeure reasons, the school recommends that students register to postpone the exam according to the instructions to be arranged a suitable additional exam schedule.

Many universities continue to organize online learning on October 8.
The Academy of Cryptography Technology announced that all teaching activities on October 8 will be moved online due to the storm causing travel difficulties. This decision is to ensure the safety of lecturers and students and maintain learning progress.
The University of Transport has temporarily suspended face-to-face classes on October 8 and switched to online teaching. For special subjects such as internships, experiments or outdoor activities, lecturers will arrange make-up schedules at a suitable time.
For the administrative block, school leaders require heads of units to proactively assign tasks and arrange flexible working arrangements for officials and employees, ensuring operations are maintained smoothly and without interruption.
Meanwhile, many schools in Hanoi have decided to let students return to class. The University of Commerce said that the rain has stopped in Hanoi and the water has gradually receded, so from October 8, the school will organize in-person classes.
"Students who have difficulty moving due to weather conditions at their place of residence can inform their lecturers for appropriate support," the school noted.
The University of Foreign Languages (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) also announced that students will return to in-person learning from October 8. In case of complicated weather developments, the school will update the adjustment notice before 6:00 a.m. the same day.
FPT Primary and Secondary School (Nghia Do Ward, Cau Giay) announced that students will return to school to study in person on October 8. At the same time, they will continue to monitor and update the weather situation to adjust their study plan accordingly.
Kim Giang Primary School (Dinh Cong Ward), Unetkids Kindergarten (Nhan Chinh Ward), and the Alaska Education System's Kindergarten System also welcomed students back to school on October 8.
On the morning of October 7, Hanoi experienced heavy rain, many streets were flooded due to the impact of storm No. 11. Many schools announced the suspension of teaching activities, switching from in-person learning to online learning, ensuring the safety of students and lecturers.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the morning of October 8, the Northwest and Viet Bac regions of the North, Hanoi City will receive moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places will have very heavy rain. Other places in the North and Thanh Hoa will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall of 10-30mm, locally heavy rain.
There is a risk of heavy rain, with rainfall exceeding 100mm in just 3 hours, posing a risk of flash floods, landslides and flooding in low-lying and urban areas.
