Radio frequency management coordination conference 2023.
In 2023, the Radio Frequency Center and the Departments of Information and Communications have flexibly coordinated to carry out propaganda and dissemination of laws in many forms, such as posting news and articles on electronic information portals, magazines, organizing training courses, and communicating on the Information Page of the Radio Frequency Department and the Center. In particular, the coordination work to guide the registration procedures for licensing the use of radio frequencies for satellite-based journey monitoring devices for fishing vessel owners in Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, and Binh Thuan provinces has brought positive results. To date, in the 7 provinces, nearly 7,000 licenses have been granted to organizations and individuals using radio frequencies and equipment. Of which, 2,823 licenses have been granted to fishing vessel owners; 593 licenses to use wireless broadcasting equipment in communes and wards; the rest focus on areas such as: Telecommunications; radio and television; navigation (air navigation, maritime navigation)... Thereby, contributing to improving the effectiveness of state management in the field of radio frequencies at the local level.
In 2024, the Center will continue to strengthen the dissemination of laws on radio frequencies; guide organizations and individuals to carry out public administrative procedures on granting radio frequency licenses on the national public administration portal. At the same time, strengthen inspection and handling of organizations and individuals that manufacture, import and trade in radio equipment exempted from licensing; radio equipment, radio wave application equipment that can cause unsafety without conformity certificates and conformity declarations.
