At the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, emphasized the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other" in the face of loss of life and property in the Northern and Central regions.

All cadres, civil servants and workers of Binh Long ward actively responded by donating at least one day's salary along with many essential goods and necessities.
