More than 9,000 Lao Cai candidates entered the first exam day.

This morning (June 26), candidates took the first subject of the High School Graduation Exam.

Candidates excitedly entered the first exam session.

The weather recorded at 27 examination sites in the province was cool, some places had rain but not too heavy, so it was quite favorable for candidates, relatives and examination staff to move to the examination sites. The cool weather conditions will also help candidates feel more comfortable during the exam.

Check the necessary items to bring into the exam room according to regulations.

At 6:30 a.m., candidates began to gather in the examination room, check the necessary information and complete the procedures to enter the examination room under the guidance of the invigilators.

At 7:35 a.m., candidates will begin taking the Literature exam (120-minute exam time). In the afternoon, candidates will take the Math exam (90-minute exam time). These are two compulsory subjects for all candidates taking the graduation exam (including 12th graders taking the exam according to the 2018 general education program and independent candidates taking the exam according to the 2006 general education program).

Youth union members and volunteers assisted candidates in moving to the exam site and checked the number of candidates present in front of the exam room door.

According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training, the whole province has more than 9,200 candidates registered to take the exam at 27 exam locations with 398 exam rooms in districts, towns and cities.

Previously, on the afternoon of June 25, candidates completed the exam procedures; on June 26 and 27, candidates took 4 exams, of which Math and Literature were 2 compulsory subjects and 2 elective subjects; June 28 was reserved for backup.
