Tax management guidance for business activities on e-commerce platforms

On the afternoon of July 7, the Tax Department held an online conference to discuss and guide policies and regulations of Decree 117/2025/ND-CP, dated June 9, 2025 of the Government on tax management for business activities on e-commerce platforms.

The conference connected online with 34 tax points of provinces and cities. Deputy Head of Tax of An Giang province Pham Van Dung chaired the conference at the Tax point of An Giang province.

The conference discussed three key contents: New points of Decree 117/2025/ND-CP, especially clearly stipulating the responsibility for deducting, declaring, and paying value-added tax and personal income tax for organizations managing e-commerce trading floors and digital platforms with payment functions.

Introducing a detailed handbook on tax declaration and payment procedures for e-commerce activities and digital business, in-depth documents developed according to Law No. 56/2024/QH15 and implementing guidelines, helping organizations and individuals easily comply with new tax policies.

Solve practical problems, focus on situations arising in declaration, deduction, tax refund for canceled and returned orders, distinguish between resident and non-resident individuals, and determine correct revenue for tax calculation.
