OPENING STAMP EXHIBITION "80 YEARS OF VIETNAM REACHING OUT TO THE BIG OCEAN"

On the morning of August 27, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History coordinated with the Viet Stamp Club to organize a stamp exhibition with the theme "80 years of Vietnam reaching out to the sea".

The theme aims to introduce and honor the documentary and artistic value of postage stamps as a means of preserving history, reflecting culture, politics and important events of Vietnam, especially during the period of the August Revolution in 1945, National Day September 2 and the early period of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. The exhibition will introduce to the public 3 main themes:
- Collection "Vietnam on World Stamps" and " World Stamps tell stories of Vietnam".
- Collection "August Revolution 1945 and National Day September 2 on postage stamps".
- Collection of medals, badges and insignia of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in the early period.

In addition, with the aim of contributing to the enrichment of the collection of artifacts of the Ho Chi Minh City History Museum, Mr. Hoang Anh Thi - Chairman of the Viet Stamp Club donated an artifact to the Museum, which is a Vietnamese stamp about the architecture of the Ho Chi Minh City History Museum. And on the occasion of the country's great holiday, the Red Star Revolutionary Memorabilia Collection Group of the Viet Stamp Club presented Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan with a badge commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
