Hanoi's economy has been growing at a high rate, contributing 16% of GDP and 19% of the country's total budget revenue. The urban landscape is increasingly spacious and modern. National defense and security are maintained.

Hanoi is internationally honored and recognized as "City for Peace " and "Creative City".
