Actively improve the business investment environment and infrastructure
Taking place in the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the success of the 1st Congress of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 and on the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13), the Lam Dong Provincial Investment Promotion Conference 2025 has an important meaning to introduce the potential and strengths of Lam Dong province as well as provide information on the province's Planning orientation, thereby creating motivation to attract, mobilize and call for investment resources from economic sectors inside and outside the province, especially in key, breakthrough and strategic projects such as: Mineral processing industry, renewable energy, marine economy and logistics, tourism - services, high-tech agriculture and digital transformation,...
Lam Dong province, with the largest area in the country, is currently a strategic convergence point between the Southern Key Economic Zone and the South Central Coast. It possesses a diverse economic ecosystem: fertile red basalt plateau, vast green forests, temperate climate, land of thousands of flowers, along with 192 km of coastline, Vinh Tan deep-water port and international border gateway. With its connecting location, rich natural resources and open investment environment, Lam Dong is emerging as a promising destination for domestic and international investors.
Up to now, Lam Dong province has more than 33,000 enterprises with a total registered capital of over 350 trillion VND, an average charter capital of over 10 billion VND/enterprise; there are about 170,000 business households with a registered capital of over 60 trillion VND; along with 3,000 investment projects still in operation with a total capital of over 2 million billion VND, including 235 FDI projects. These figures demonstrate the confidence of the business community and investors in the transparent, safe and potential investment environment of the province.

With the motto of building Lam Dong into a strong province, rich people, beautiful nature, humane and affectionate society, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi said that the province has actively improved the investment and business environment, infrastructure, calling to attract more and more corporations and large enterprises to survey, invest and implement projects in the province, considering the success of investors as the success of the province and affirmed: "Today's conference is not only a place to introduce potential and investment opportunities but also a respectful invitation from Lam Dong province to the business community, domestic and foreign investors to join us in creating sustainable values, working together to build Lam Dong into a livable, green - friendly - affectionate place in the new era, the era of national growth".
At the Conference, Lam Dong province leaders awarded Investment Certificates and Investment Memorandums of Understanding for a number of projects to businesses in the fields of: minerals, renewable energy, high-tech agriculture, healthcare, real estate... with a total investment and commitment capital of over 33,000. billion dong

Speaking at the Conference, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh highly appreciated and welcomed the leaders of Lam Dong province for immediately organizing the Investment Promotion Conference right after the successful Provincial Party Congress, which was a practical activity to bring the Congress Resolution into life with a very determined and creative spirit, a great determination to realize the Resolution set out by the Congress.
On the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13), the First Deputy Prime Minister sent his best wishes to the business community, congratulated the businesses that received Investment Certificates and Memorandums of Understanding at the Conference; thanked the businesses for their dedication to the country's development and accompanying the country; expressed: "Today, comrades have gathered in Lam Dong. I see that there are many successful business faces in the country present here, interested in and learning about Lam Dong. I really hope that comrades will continue to accompany the whole country into a new era, the era of national growth. In the era of national growth, the first to grow must be businesses and entrepreneurs - those who create material wealth, solve jobs for workers, those who create growth. According to Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, we are entering a new era with a new mindset on national development, including new, breakthrough concepts on the private economy; with open policy mechanisms and a friendly administration that always listens and shares with businesses.
The Party and the State have a completely new way of thinking and looking at the private economy; considering it the most important force of economic development; the leading force in innovation, application of science and technology... This is a force capable of and in fact has undertaken many important national tasks and in the future, the State will assign this business force larger and more important national tasks.
The viewpoint and perspective on the private economy now has also approached the world's assessment. Accordingly, we base on four basic criteria. One is compliance with the law; the reputation of an enterprise must begin with compliance with the law. Two is the ability to contribute to the country through products, services, and taxes contributed to the State. Three is the solution of employment for workers. Many memorandums of understanding have been signed and in the near future, all investment certificates granted at today's conference will be the premise for Lam Dong's development. After this conference, many investors will continue to come to Lam Dong to study the 72 projects that have been introduced and seek new cooperation opportunities for investment."
At the same time, the province needs to focus on investing in infrastructure connectivity, especially transport infrastructure. Transport infrastructure, especially arterial roads, and digital infrastructure are the first priorities that need investment attention. The government will invest in expressway projects, but give full authority to the province to decide on the selection of local infrastructure projects. Investment needs to be focused, key, and prioritized. Spreading out, fragmented, a little bit in each place will disperse the already limited state resources.
At the same time, it is necessary to build and create a cultural administration, listen to businesses, accompany businesses, and solve their problems. For businesses, the First Deputy Prime Minister hopes that entrepreneurs will carefully study the potentials, advantages, situation and business environment of Lam Dong; correctly assess the level of welcome, friendliness and problem-solving ability of Lam Dong to soon make wise decisions. The answer to the leadership capacity of the Provincial Party Committee will be measured by the number of businesses coming to Lam Dong.

In recent times, Lam Dong's socio-economic situation has continued to change, achieving many outstanding results. Specifically, the economy has grown quite well, the scale and quality of growth have been raised towards sustainability. The investment and business environment has been improved; the private economy has developed dynamically, the proportion of the private economy contributing to GRDP is about 78%. The socio-economic infrastructure system has received investment attention. The management of planning and construction and the management of land, resources, environment, construction and minerals have been implemented synchronously.
Transport infrastructure continues to receive strong investment attention, many inter-regional connecting routes are being urgently deployed, typically: the system of expressways Tan Phu-Bao Loc, Bao Loc-Lien Khuong, Nha Trang-Lien Khuong, Gia Nghia-Chon Thanh, Gia Nghia-Bao Loc-Phan Thiet; projects to upgrade and expand National Highway 27, National Highway 28, National Highway 55, the dynamic route Gia Nghia-Bao Lam and the national coastal road project...
At the same time, the province is promoting the implementation of key energy and irrigation projects, including: Son My I and Son My II BOT Power Plants; Son My LNG port warehouse; and many irrigation lakes, dyke systems, and protective embankments to proactively respond to climate change.
These outstanding results are an important foundation, creating solid confidence for the business community and investors, and affirming that Lam Dong is firmly on the path of sustainable development, striving to maintain a double-digit economic growth rate, in line with the orientation of the Resolution of the Party and the Government.
