On October 5, the Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong province) organized the launching of the Trade Union Model participating in protecting the clean environment in residential areas for the period 2025-2030.

The model of Trade Unions participating in protecting clean environment in residential areas focuses on propaganda and mobilizing union members and people to raise awareness and change environmental protection behavior right at home.

Accordingly, the model implements waste collection and classification at source, proper disposal; no wastewater discharge, tree planting,... to build a green-clean-beautiful residential area.

This is a practical activity, connecting the union with the people, together building a civilized and sustainable community. At the ceremony, five grassroots unions also launched the Environmental Protection Participation Model.

In addition, neighborhoods and grassroots unions have signed a commitment to implement environmental protection content in the period 2025-2030.

In addition, the Binh Thuan Ward Union presented 20 trash bins to 8 neighborhoods located in public areas and densely populated areas. In addition, businesses supported 54 gifts for workers and disadvantaged households; and gave 20 shopping baskets to the families of women members.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, said that this is a practical and creative model, concretizing the role of trade unions in environmental protection and urban landscape construction. The model can become a typical activity for grassroots and local trade unions to refer to and replicate.

Along with that, Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union needs to regularly monitor, evaluate, learn from experience, promptly reward and commend collectives and individuals with achievements, in order to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere that spreads widely in the community.

In the 2025-2030 period, the province identifies environmental protection and building a clean living environment as one of the important tasks, associated with the emulation movement for good and creative workers.
