Khanh Hoa Provincial leaders attend the National Great Unity Day at Thanh My Residential Area

On November 15, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province attended the National Great Unity Day at Thanh My residential area, Ninh Quang commune, Ninh Hoa town. Also attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Thien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town, along with departments, branches, Ninh Hoa town and people in the village.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, presented gifts to people at the Great Unity Day.

Thanh My village, Ninh Quang commune currently has 536 households with 2,400 people, 40% of whom are farmers, 60% are traders, workers, freelancers and other services. The Village Front Committee has mobilized people to effectively carry out the movement of the whole people uniting to help each other develop the economy , improve living standards, join hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas; strongly arousing the spirit of solidarity to help each other reduce poverty, strive to become rich legitimately. In 2024, the average income per capita will reach over 71 million VND/person/year, the whole village will have only 4 poor households and 10 near-poor households.

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the contributions of the Thanh My Village Front Committee and the People in propagating and promoting the precious tradition of national solidarity, diligence and creativity in production and business; doing well in poverty reduction, building cultural life in residential areas, and security and order in the locality.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province presented 20 gifts to poor households, near-poor households, disadvantaged households, and families with meritorious services to the revolution in Ninh Quang commune. Ninh Hoa town presented 6 gifts to policy families and families with difficult circumstances; the Village Front Work Committee commended many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in activities and movements.
