In the warm and affectionate atmosphere of the National Great Unity Day, Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh attended and presented many gifts to the people of Ward 4, Dong Thanh Ward, Ninh Binh City.
On the evening of November 17, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh attended and shared the joy of the National Great Unity Day with officials, party members and people of Ward 4, Dong Thanh Ward, Ninh Binh City. Also attending were Mr. Mai Van Tuat - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
At the Festival, delegates and people enjoyed many special performances by the Dong Thanh ward art troupe praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland and the country; and reviewed the tradition of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).
Regarding the situation of the neighborhood, Ms. Nguyen Thi Son - Head of the Front Work Committee (CTMT) of neighborhood 4 said: Neighborhood 4 has an area of 19.1 hectares with 332 households, 1,115 people divided into 8 self-governing groups. In 2024, the neighborhood will have 325/332 households achieving cultural family status, achieving cultural street status for many consecutive years, and the Party cell has successfully completed its tasks for many years.
There are 17 businesses and households in the neighborhood, creating jobs for many workers, contributing to improving people's lives. By 2024, the neighborhood will have no more poor or near-poor households, and the number of well-off and rich households will increase.
100% of the families in the neighborhood signed a commitment to implement the campaign for civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals. Responding to the campaign to contribute to the 'Repaying gratitude and social security' fund, the people in the neighborhood contributed 25.2 million VND. On the occasion of the recent anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the Neighborhood Committee visited and gave gifts to 29 policy families.
Speaking at the festival, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh expressed her joy and excitement with the results that the people of Ward 4 have achieved, and at the same time asked the residents of the ward to continue to unite, build a cultural lifestyle, strive for 100% of households to achieve cultural family status and become a model residential area.
In the coming time, the people of Ward 4 in particular and the people of Ninh Binh province in general will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, actively participate in campaigns and patriotic emulation movements.
Participate in building a strong Party and government, effectively implementing the theme of this year's Festival, which is 'All people join hands to build self-governing, united, prosperous and happy residential areas; build Ninh Binh province into a centrally-run city with the characteristics of a millennium heritage urban area and a creative city'.
On this occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh presented the people of the neighborhood with 4 3D paintings of the National Assembly and a gift worth 11 million VND; and presented 5 gifts, each worth 1.2 million VND, to 5 exemplary families.
At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also awarded 20 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, and 20 gifts, each worth 1.2 million VND, to students in difficult circumstances and poor households in Ninh Binh City.
Mr. Mai Van Tuat - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ninh Binh province presented the photo 'Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton shaking hands in solidarity' to the representative of Ward 4.
