Le Minh Ngoc sings about hope in the midst of flood and rain

(Dan Tri) - At a time when many areas are affected by natural disasters, Sao Mai 2022 folk music champion Le Minh Ngoc chose to sing to share and send a message of good things.

In early October, when the Central region and many northern provinces were struggling with floods, singer Le Minh Ngoc - Sao Mai 2022 folk music champion - chose to start his new musical journey with a melody full of faith called Song of Hope .

For Le Minh Ngoc, it is not only an artistic choice, but also a way to use music to share, convey faith and add spiritual strength to lands facing difficulties.

“These days, we painfully witness many provinces and cities across the country struggling to cope with natural disasters. The murky water has swept away many fields, roofs, and even dreams and plans that had just taken shape.

I just hope the water will recede soon, dawn will return, the fields will be green again and smiles will soon bloom on people's faces after hardships and difficulties," she shared.

According to the female singer, Song of Hope was chosen by her as a prayer, a sharing for the lands that are suffering loss.

Le Minh Ngoc believes that, in every incident, the greatest strength of the Vietnamese people is faith and indomitable spirit. That fire will always help us overcome difficulties and move towards a brighter tomorrow.

The MV Song of Hope (composed by musician Van Ky) was made by her and her crew at many familiar locations such as: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hanoi Flag Tower, Thang Long Imperial Citadel... in the clear autumn days of Hanoi.

With her resonant, bright and sweet chamber voice, Le Minh Ngoc brings a youthful and bright tone to the classic song, making the audience feel both the heroic spirit and the love of everyday life that musician Van Ky conveyed.

It was that spirit that opened the project series Singing about Hanoi with the MV Song of Hope introduced by the female singer on October 10, on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025).

The project is a gift of gratitude that she sends to Hanoi, the place she considers her second hometown, the place that nurtured her youth and gave her the opportunity to pursue an artistic path.

Le Minh Ngoc also revealed that the project Singing about Hanoi includes many classic chamber and political songs, works of high artistic value and have become precious spiritual assets of the nation.

Singing about Hanoi also marked Le Minh Ngoc's clear step on the path of pursuing chamber music and vocals.

Le Minh Ngoc currently works at the Army Music and Dance Theater. She won the 2022 Sao Mai Folk Music First Prize and the 2023 National Chamber, Opera and Choir Singing Competition.
