Schedule of Vietnam U21 women's volleyball at the world championship

VHO - The Vietnam U21 women's volleyball team will compete in five matches in the group stage of the 2025 Women's U21 Volleyball World Cup, taking place from August 7 to 12 in Indonesia.

The 2025 Women's U21 Volleyball World Cup takes place from August 7 to 17, with 24 teams divided into 4 groups. The teams will compete in a round robin to score points, selecting the top 4 teams from each group to enter the round of 16.

Young Vietnamese players will have useful matches at the tournament.

At the tournament, Vietnam U21 women's team is in group B with Indonesia, Argentina, Serbia, Puerto Rico and Canada.

According to the match schedule, after the opening match with host Indonesia on August 7, the Vietnam U21 women's team will meet Serbia (August 8), Canada (August 9), Argentina (August 11) and Puerto Rico (August 12).

To prepare for the tournament, the Vietnam U21 women's team has listed 12 athletes, including: Lai Thi Khanh Huyen, Nguyen Van Ha (setter); Ngo Thi Bich Hue, Pham Thuy Linh (opposite setter), Dang Thi Hong, Nguyen Lan Vy, Bui Thi Anh Thao, Pham Quynh Huong (attacker), Le Thuy Linh, Le Nhu Anh, Nguyen Phuong Quynh (middle blocker); Ha Kieu Vy (libero).

This is also the first time Vietnamese volleyball has had a national youth team officially qualify for a world tournament.

The goal of coach Nguyen Trong Linh and his team is to play to the best of their ability and try to perform well in each match.

The team has a place in the 2025 U21 Volleyball World Cup thanks to its 5th place finish at the 2024 Asian Women's U20 Volleyball Championship.

7:00 p.m. August 7: Indonesia - Vietnam

14:00 August 8: Vietnam - Serbia

1:00 p.m. August 9: Vietnam - Canada

10:00 a.m. August 11: Vietnam - Argentina

13:00 August 12: Puerto Rico - Vietnam
