Law on Teachers: Enhancing the status and protecting the teaching staff

The 15th National Assembly has just passed the Law on Teachers - the first specialized law clearly defining the legal position, rights and obligations of teachers.

This is an important step in institutionalizing the principle of “honoring, protecting and developing the teaching profession”. The law not only provides specific policies on salary, recruitment, honor protection and support for teachers in disadvantaged areas, but also contributes to affirming the role, position and silent contributions of the teaching staff in the career of educating people.

Along with many consistent policies of the Party and State in recent years, the Law on Teachers will open up new opportunities for teachers to confidently contribute, building a fair, sustainable and developing education system.
