Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of communes held the 1st Congress of delegates

On the morning of October 16, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tien Lu and Viet Yen communes held the 1st Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

* Tien Lu Commune

During the past term, the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in Tien Lu commune had many positive changes, closely following the local political tasks. The movements of "Youth Volunteers", "Creative Youth", "Youth Volunteers to Protect the Fatherland" attracted a large number of union members and young people to participate. The whole commune has carried out 24 youth projects and tasks; more than 3,000 youth union members participated in volunteer activities; the outstanding loan balance through the Social Policy Bank managed by the commune's Youth Union reached nearly 40 billion VND, effectively supporting many youth economic development models. Coordinated career counseling for about 2,500 youth union members; presented nearly 3,000 gifts to policy families, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, former youth volunteers and poor students overcoming difficulties; mobilized more than 750 youth union members to donate blood voluntarily, collecting over 400 units of blood.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, Tien Lu Commune Youth Union strives to annually provide career counseling to over 1,000 union members; admit at least 250 new union members; introduce 15 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration; implement at least 1 youth project or task associated with new rural construction; and support at least 200 children in difficult circumstances.

*Viet Yen Commune

Currently, Viet Yen Commune Youth Union has 38 branches with nearly 2,400 members. In the last term, the commune's youth union and youth movement have innovated their working methods, demonstrating their pioneering role, volunteering spirit and creativity. The commune's Youth Union mobilized over 100 youth union members and people to donate blood; carried out 6 youth projects and tasks; 297 outstanding youth union members joined the army; presented more than 200 gifts to students in difficult circumstances; secured credit with the Social Policy Bank for youth to borrow preferential loans for economic development with a total outstanding debt of nearly 5 billion VND.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Commune Youth Union will continue to strongly innovate its operating methods to suit the new situation; widely deploy activities to support young people in starting a business, especially innovative start-ups; improve digital capacity for teenagers and children; strive to carry out at least 5 youth projects and tasks; provide career orientation for at least 300 union members and young people/year; introduce stable jobs for 20 young people/year.

At the Congresses, the Decision of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of communes, term I, 2025 - 2030, and the delegation to attend the congress at a higher level were announced.
