On the night of October 11 at Tay Ho Stadium (Hanoi), LION Championship 27 (LC27) ended with a series of eye-catching knockout matches, in which the highlight was Ly Van Huynh's impressive victory over Do Thanh Chuong to win the right to compete for the championship belt in the 77 kg category.

In the first round, MMA fighter Thanh Chuong created an uncomfortable situation by locking down his opponent's strong left leg and continuously approaching with knee strikes. However, the turning point came at the beginning of the second round when a dangerous left kick from Van Huynh made Thanh Chuong stagger. This is the third time Ly Van Huynh has won a ticket to compete for the belt, and his next opponent will be Jovidon Khojaev - the 70 kg champion who has just announced his promotion to hunt for a second title.

In a notable MMA Striking match, Tran Quoc Tuan - the WBC Muay Thai international champion - lost to Thai fighter Vorapon Jayamram, who showed off his blocking skills and superior combination of punches and kicks to win on points after three rounds.

Another highlight came from Dinh Van Khuyen, who took just 18 seconds to knock out Bui Dinh Khai with two powerful punches - the fastest victory of the tournament. Meanwhile, Tran Huy Hai also impressed with a precise right punch that knocked out Vo Tien Dat in the first round.

LION Championship 27 ended with a series of intense matches, paving the way for LC28 to take place on November 8 in Phu Quoc ( An Giang ), promising to continue bringing eye-catching matches to Vietnamese MMA fans.
