MU spent 60 million pounds to recruit Adam Wharton

The Manchester team is planning to spend 60 million pounds to bring in potential young midfielder Adam Wharton.

The 21-year-old star is a key link in Crystal Palace's midfield, helping the South London team make a strong impression in 2025.

In fact, Wharton only moved to Selhurst Park from Blackburn in early 2024 for a fee of £22 million.

Wharton quickly established himself in the first team and became one of the most promising midfielders in England.

Exclusive sources from Daily Star said that coach Ruben Amorim is closely monitoring Adam Wharton's performance.

The MU captain wants to add more quality personnel to the Red Devils' midfield, in the context that both Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo could leave next summer.

The report from the Red Devils' scouting department said that Amorim thinks Wharton will succeed at Old Trafford, despite the much more pressurized environment than at Crystal Palace.

The Manchester team believes that a price of 60 million pounds is enough to convince Palace to sell Adam Wharton.

Since moving to Selhurst Park, Wharton has made 53 appearances and provided six assists, helping the Eagles win the FA Cup last season.
