Illegal purchase and sale of invoices, fined 60 million VND

BBK - On June 27, the People's Court of Bac Kan province opened the first instance trial of the criminal case against defendant Nguyen Duc Bao, born in 1973, residing in Zone 2, Van Tung Commune, Ngan Son District, for the crime of "Illegal trading of invoices".

Representative of the People's Procuracy of Bac Kan province announced the indictment for the crime of "Illegal trading of invoices" against defendant Nguyen Duc Bao.

According to the indictment, from April 2019 to June 2022, Nguyen Duc Bao illegally sold 14 sales invoices (including groceries and construction materials) with recorded contents to units and individuals in Ngan Son district, with a total amount recorded on the invoice of 139,737,500 VND, collecting invoice money at a rate of 10% on each invoice, corresponding to an amount of 13,973,750 VND. The tax amount incurred on the paid invoice was 2,829,800 VND, the remaining tax amount to be paid was 62,750 VND, illegally profiting an amount of 11,206,700 VND.

At the trial, the defendant confessed to his crime. His testimony was consistent with the testimony of those with related rights and obligations and the documents and evidence collected during the investigation. The panel of judges fined defendant Nguyen Duc Bao VND 60,000,000 and ordered the collection of VND 11,206,700, which was illegal profit, to be added to the state budget./.
