The 20th Congress of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 is an important milestone demonstrating the will, aspiration and solidarity of the entire Party Committee, government and people in the province.
This is also an opportunity for the whole province to look back on the 5-year journey of continuous efforts with many outstanding achievements in socio-economic development, Party and political system building, and ensuring national defense and security.
In the joyful atmosphere towards the Congress, cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in the province expressed their confidence and excitement at the achievements of the province in the past 5 years, placing their hopes on the development direction of the province in the new term.
Creating an environment for business development
Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van De, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hop Luc Joint Stock Corporation, Chairman of the Vietnam Private Healthcare Association, said that in recent times, Thanh Hoa province's policies and guidelines have received positive reviews from the business community, as demonstrated through regular dialogues and meetings between provincial leaders and associations and business associations in the province. The provincial government has proactively listened and committed to removing difficulties and accompanying businesses, especially in the context of economic recovery after the pandemic.
Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van De highly appreciated the decision of the Secretariat and the Politburo to mobilize, rotate, and appoint a group of young cadres who were well-trained in leadership and management in Thanh Hoa province. Accordingly, in just a short time, it has strengthened people's trust in the political system, destroyed the gang that has existed for many years, and brought peace and satisfaction to the people.
On the eve of the 20th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, the business community believes that the congress's decisions will create a strong environment and driving force for socio-economic development in the coming time.
In particular, the policies and action programs to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, and Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development will create an open, fast and transparent institutional environment on a digital platform.
Thereby, helping businesses shorten time and costs, while effectively applying technology to the production process, improving competitiveness and the ability to seize market opportunities.
According to Professor, Doctor Nguyen Van De, in the new term, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee needs to have orientations and directions to remove difficulties for the business community. Businesses that operate spontaneously and haphazardly need to be trained to avoid violating the law related to issues such as taxes and premises.
Enterprises that do well need to be encouraged, motivated and have support mechanisms and policies. Specifically, for enterprises with potential and capacity, the province should immediately allocate land and facilitate administrative procedures so that they have favorable conditions to implement projects as planned. Enterprises that do not have enough capacity need to have their projects revoked to avoid the situation of projects being suspended for many years, causing waste of land resources.
Thereby, creating a truly open, fair and stable investment and business environment, this is also the first factor in attracting investment in the area.
Make decisions based on people's interests
Before the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, People's Artist Hoang Hai, a citizen of Hac Thanh ward, shared that this is a special political event, an important milestone not only an occasion to review the past but also an opportunity to show enthusiasm and responsibility to build an increasingly developed homeland.
He was very impressed with the province's outstanding achievements in the past term, especially the economy maintaining a high growth rate, among the provinces and cities with the highest GRDP growth rate in the country. However, there are still many difficulties and challenges that require greater determination from the Party Committee, government and all the people.
Through the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, Mr. Hoang Hai said that the delegates, representing the voice of party members and people, must wisely discuss and make correct decisions to orient and promote the development of Thanh Hoa province in the socio-economic, defense and security aspects.
Mr. Hai also hopes that the congress will select outstanding faces with enough virtue and talent to shoulder and undertake important tasks of the province in the coming time.
After more than 3 months of operation of the 2-level local government, along with the achieved results, there are still many shortcomings and limitations in the implementation process.
Mr. Hoang Hai believes that the Provincial Party Congress this term will propose specific and timely decisions, linked to the practical interests of the people. The government will be closer to the people to listen to voices from the grassroots, promptly and effectively resolve complicated cases right at the grassroots, and urgent social issues of concern to the people.
People's Artist Hoang Hai believes that with the spirit of solidarity, creativity and determination of the entire Party Committee, together with the support of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, the province will achieve the set goals, contributing to improving the material, cultural and spiritual life of the people, promoting the comprehensive development of Thanh Hoa province./.
