Musician Nguyen Thanh Trung released the album “If…” to welcome autumn

Album “If…” by musician Nguyen Thanh Trung.

The album “If…” includes 8 songs full of lyrical and emotional qualities, marking the musician’s passionate return to the Vietnamese music scene. The album was arranged by musician Duong Duc Thuy and edited by Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, ensuring high artistic quality from the mixing to the production stages.

The album features a diverse cast of artists, creating a colorful musical picture. “Foolish for Love”, performed by singer Le Anh Dung; “Sad Memories”, singer To Ngoc Ha; “Far from You”, singer Trong Hai; “Don’t Wait for Me to Come Back”, singer Dinh Trang; “Sweet When in Love”, performed by Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung; “What is Love, Grandma”, singer Ha Quynh Nhu; “Em That Buon Ngay Bao”, singer Khanh Thy; “If Lonely, Why Are You Lonely and Alone”, singer Minh Chuyen.

The participation of many famous artists across many musical genres, from chamber singers (Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, singers Le Anh Dung, Dinh Trang) to pop singers (Minh Chuyen, Khanh Thy), folk music (young singer Ha Quynh Nhu) and bolero music (To Ngoc Ha, Trong Hai) has highlighted the musical color of Nguyen Thanh Trung: Romantic, profound but not limited by any genre. Each song in the album is a story, a confession about love, nostalgia and loneliness, told with smooth, soulful melodies.

With his forte being lyrical and narrative songs with many products previously released to the audience, this time in "If...", musician Nguyen Thanh Trung has "painted" a colorful musical palette. The highlight is the folk and bolero colors with the participation of bolero singers such as Trong Hai - who won the Bolero Idol 2019 with the song "Xa Ban" creating a close and emotional feeling. Young singer Ha Quynh Nhu (born in 2004, won the Voice Kids 2018) brings folk colors to the album, making the musical story more rustic and genuine. Along with that is the breath of modern pop music with the participation of pop singers such as Minh Chuyen and Khanh Thy, bringing sophistication and modernity in the way of handling songs, helping Nguyen Thanh Trung's works reach more young audiences.

The arrangement of the works in the album “If…” shows that the production team's goal is not only to launch the product, but also to create a work of art with a dialogue between musical styles.

Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, a musical friend of musician Nguyen Thanh Trung and also in charge of editing the album, shared that Nguyen Thanh Trung is a persistent musician and always writes with the most genuine emotions. The album has a strong lyrical and emotional color, very suitable for the romantic atmosphere of Hanoi's autumn. More importantly, "If..." shows that the musician's creativity is never-ending, always searching for new perspectives on love and life.

The sophisticated and modern harmony has helped Nguyen Thanh Trung's compositions to be given a new look, both retaining their inherent sentimentality and being suitable for today's musical tastes.
