Sao Mai Le Minh Ngoc celebrates Capital Liberation Day with a series of songs about Hanoi

Le Minh Ngoc said the series includes classic anthems and chamber music - works of high artistic value, reflecting the heroic historical periods of the capital and the country.

Besides the epic songs, the series also depicts a splendid, simple, romantic and profound Hanoi , where each melody touches the memories, love and emotions of each audience when remembering Hanoi.

The series of songs about Hanoi is not only a tribute to the capital, but also a journey to honor the timeless values of music about Hanoi.

Le Minh Ngoc chose October 10 to release the first MV in the series with a timeless composition by musician Van Ky: "Song of Hope".

Le Minh Ngoc shared that, as planned, she would initially release another song to open the series. However, “Song of Hope” was chosen as the first MV to be released because she wanted to convey another message through it besides her gratitude for Hanoi at this time.

“The song 'Song of Hope' was chosen to open the Series as a prayer and a sharing from me to the people and the lands that are suffering pain and loss due to floods. I hope that the water will soon recede, dawn will return, the fields will be green again, and smiles will bloom on faces after so many hardships and difficulties caused by natural disasters,” Le Minh Ngoc shared.

The MV “Song of Hope” was made by Le Minh Ngoc and production crew Linh Nguyen at famous locations and relics in Hanoi such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hanoi Flag Tower, Thang Long Imperial Citadel… with the image of beautiful and gentle Le Minh Ngoc in a silk ao dai.

Some of the songs she has chosen to release after “Song of Hope” in the near future include “Hanoi People” (Nguyen Dinh Thi), “Night Stars” (Phan Huynh Dieu), “October Emotions” (Music: Nguyen Thanh, Poetry: Ta Huu Yen)…, “First Spring” (Van Cao), “Remembering Hanoi” (Hoang Hiep)…

It can be said that the MV “Song of Hope” along with the series “Singing about Hanoi” has once again clearly affirmed the artistic path that Le Minh Ngoc is pursuing - chamber music, main vocals. This is also the direction she officially announced after the success of the musical film “Letter to the Future”, a work celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2nd produced by the Arts Department of Vietnam Television.

In the musical film "Letter to the Future", Le Minh Ngoc participated as an actress and lead singer. She performed a series of chamber and main songs, which greatly surprised the audience.

From a familiar voice to the folk, in this musical film, Le Minh Ngoc completely transformed - a transformation full of courage, bringing freshness to songs that have stood the test of time. The success of the film also marked a new development in Le Minh Ngoc's career, when he officially pursued chamber music and vocals.

Le Minh Ngoc has a solid foundation in her career. She won the Sao Mai Folk Music Champion 2022 and the First Prize of the National Chamber Music Competition 2023.
