Many events at Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025

(Chinhphu.vn) - Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025 with the theme "Innovation, promoting the development of green buildings and green transport towards sustainability" chaired by the Ministry of Construction in coordination with agencies and organizing units will take place on October 29.

Promote the development of green transport systems, electric vehicles and renewable energy

Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025 will feature many events including: 1 plenary session, 4 thematic seminars and 1 exhibition of green products, buildings and green solutions in the construction and transport sectors such as: Green materials, energy saving; smart design solutions, advanced construction technology; introduction of construction technology, green project management models, and at the same time promoting the development of green transport systems, electric vehicles and renewable energy to improve efficiency, reduce emissions and move towards the Net Zero 2050 target...

Exhibition of green buildings and green solutions

The event also includes activities to honor organizations and individuals who have contributed to green development; award green building certificates; and award prizes for student green architecture competitions. With these diverse events, it is expected to attract over 1,000 delegates from ministries, sectors, urban authorities, agencies, organizations, and domestic and international enterprises.

As part of the sideline activities of the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025, the Ministry of Construction will coordinate with the Hanoi People's Committee to organize a seminar with the theme "Solutions to promote Green Building and Green Transport towards sustainable development goals" with the participation of leaders of the Ministry of Construction and leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee, domestic and international organizations, and enterprises participating in consulting, investing in construction, and managing the operation of green buildings and green transport.

In particular, the Plenary Session will focus on the theme: "Innovation, promoting the development of Green Buildings and Green Transport towards sustainability" with the participation of leaders of ministries, branches, localities, and a large number of domestic and foreign delegates from research institutes, universities, professional associations, experts, scientists , representatives of banks and credit institutions, manufacturing enterprises, investors, consulting units, designers, constructors, construction management and operation of works and transport infrastructure...

The parties will exchange and discuss innovation strategies, application of advanced technology, digital transformation and green energy solutions in construction and transportation, to improve resource efficiency, reduce emissions to promote the development of green buildings and green transportation in Vietnam.

The thematic seminars will focus on key contents such as: green housing and real estate development, application of new energy-saving and emission-reducing materials, urban planning and green infrastructure.

In addition, the thematic seminars will focus on key contents such as: green housing and real estate development, application of new energy-saving and emission-reducing materials, urban planning and green infrastructure, smart management solutions, as well as promoting green transportation through energy conversion, electric vehicles, and smart transportation infrastructure, contributing to the comprehensive development of the innovation ecosystem in construction and transportation.

On the sidelines of the event, there will be an exhibition with over 30 booths displaying panels, models, and introducing products... of organizations and businesses in fields such as: green materials, ecology, vehicles, smart equipment, energy saving, construction consulting - design, green project management, green finance... Within the framework of the event, there will also be activities to honor organizations and individuals who have contributed to the development of green buildings and green transportation; awarding prizes for the Student Green Architecture Competition; and awarding Green Building Certificates.

From 2020 to 2024, the Ministry of Construction has successfully organized the Vietnam Green Building Week, gathering more than 1,000 delegates each year, including many international experts and pioneering enterprises in materials, equipment, energy-saving solutions and environmentally friendly technologies. The event has become the leading prestigious forum in the field of green construction, contributing to promoting innovation and spreading energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.

The year 2025 marks the expansion of scope and stature when the event officially merges the two fields of construction and transport, reflecting the true spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW (December 22, 2024) on science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, along with many major policies and guidelines such as: National program on economical and efficient use of energy (Decision 280/QD-TTg), Action program on green energy conversion and reduction of carbon and methane emissions in the transport sector (Decision 876/QD-TTg) and Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP (April 1, 2025).
