Multiple accidents on National Highway 1A, 8 people injured

A series of accidents on National Highway 1A between a passenger bus, a truck, and a tractor-trailer left 8 people injured and hospitalized.

On March 21, the People's Committee of Dong Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh confirmed that an accident had just occurred in the area, causing 8 people to be hospitalized.

Accordingly, at about 12:17 p.m. the same day, the passenger bus with license plate: 51B-283.xx (driver unknown) traveling in the North-South direction, when reaching Km 643+200 National Highway 1A in Dong Trach commune, Bo Trach district, crashed into the back of a truck with license plate: 73C-103.xx driven by Hoang Duc Chung (born in 1970, residing in TDP 6, Hoan Lao town, Bo Trach district) traveling in the opposite direction, which was turning around to go North-South.

The strong collision caused the passenger bus to lose control and continue to crash into a car with license plate 73C-055.xx pulling a trailer 73R-005.xx driven by Hoang Van Thai (born in 1987, residing in Van Trach commune, Bo Trach district), traveling from South to North.

Then the tractor trailer and passenger car continued to crash into Mr. Duong Van V.'s house (village 1, Dong Trach, Bo Trach district).

After the accident, 8 people were injured and taken to the hospital, 3 cars were severely damaged, houses had damaged fences and roofs, and debris was scattered everywhere.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
