Deputy Minister of Finance Ho Sy Hung was transferred and appointed as Secretary of the VCCI Party Committee.

Mr. Ho Sy Hung, Deputy Minister of Finance, has just been assigned by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations to be Secretary of the VCCI Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

On the afternoon of October 16, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held a conference to announce the decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations on personnel work.

Accordingly, Mr. Ho Sy Hung, member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Minister of Finance , was transferred and appointed as Secretary of the VCCI Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

VCCI was established in 1963, is a national organization that gathers and represents the business community, entrepreneurs, employers and business associations in Vietnam.

VCCI Party Committee was established in February 2025, is a grassroots party committee with 24 party organizations and 379 party members.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations, emphasized that the selection of leaders of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry was carefully considered and examined by the Party Central Committee Secretariat on many aspects.

Accordingly, the Secretariat appointed Mr. Ho Sy Hung to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the VCCI Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and at the same time introduced him to be elected as Chairman of the VCCI for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Ho Sy Hung was born in 1968, has the title of associate professor of economics, and has held the following positions: Director of the Department of Enterprise Development, Vice Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, and Deputy Minister of Finance.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Ho Sy Hung shared that this is a great honor, but also a heavy responsibility before the leaders of the Party, State, Fatherland Front, VCCI Party Committee and the business community and entrepreneurs nationwide.

Mr. Ho Sy Hung affirmed that he will continuously learn, innovate his thinking, work with integrity, responsibility, closeness and listening. At the same time, he committed to devote all his efforts to the development of the business community and VCCI in the new term.
