Colonel Nguyen Van Thang Loi (born June 22, 1955, residing at 203/C3, Trung Tu, Group 10, Kim Lien Ward, Hanoi ) - former Deputy Head of Department 6/A36, General Department of Security - passed away at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 71.

The funeral was held from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on October 12, 2025 at the Funeral Home of Hospital 198, Ministry of Public Security , No. 9 Tran Binh Street, Hanoi.

Memorial service at 8:30 the same day.

Then the body will be moved and cremated at the Universe Crematorium, Van Dien Cemetery, Hanoi.
