Awarded 50 million VND to support house building for near-poor households in Duc Hop commune

On the morning of October 15, the Provincial Red Cross Society awarded funding to support the construction of a house for Mr. Pham Van La's family, a near-poor household with especially difficult circumstances in Quang Lac village, Duc Hop commune.

Mr. La's family's level 4 house is dilapidated, seriously degraded, and unsafe, especially during the rainy season. From the "Safe Roof" project sponsored by Habitat for Humanity, Mr. La's family received 100 million VND to build a house. This amount of funding was divided into 2 phases. In the first phase, the Provincial Red Cross Society gave 50 million VND to Mr. La's family. The remaining amount will be given when the house is completed.
