Presenting 800 gifts to support people in Ha Giang 1 ward and Ha Giang 2 ward

800 gifts including essential necessities such as blankets, pot sets, rice, fish sauce, cooking oil... were given to households affected by floods.

Attending the event were comrades: Vang Seo Con, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary of Ha Giang 2 Ward; Nguyen Hoang Long, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society; representatives of Samaritan's Purse; local authorities and a large number of people.

The recent storm No. 10 caused a lot of damage to Ha Giang 1 ward and Ha Giang 2 ward, causing thousands of houses to be flooded, roofs blown off and collapsed; many roads were completely damaged. A number of schools, medical stations, dams, irrigation canals were also damaged, with an estimated total damage of over 1,000 billion VND.

In order to share the difficulties and help people stabilize their lives soon, the Samaritan's Purse organization has given 800 gifts including essential necessities, household items and personal hygiene items such as: blankets, pot sets, rice, fish sauce, cooking oil... each worth 2.5 million VND to households, total value of nearly 2 billion VND. Thereby, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, joining hands with local authorities to overcome the consequences after natural disasters.
