Awarding 102 "Support to School" scholarships to new students in Da Nang

ĐNO - On the morning of September 27, at Palm Garden Resort & Spa, Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with the Da Nang City Youth Union and the Quang Nam - Da Nang "Support to School" Club organized the "Support to School" scholarship awarding ceremony with the theme "One Aspiration - Ten Thousand Hearts", for 102 new students with difficult circumstances and strong will of Da Nang city. The total cost of the scholarship program is more than 1.6 billion VND (not including travel, accommodation and gifts from the program) sponsored by the Quang Nam - Da Nang "Support to School" Club, Universal Alloy Corporation Viet Nam Co., Ltd., Bach Duong Mang Den Co., Ltd. and translator Nguyen Do An Nhien. Each scholarship is worth 15 million VND in cash; including 3 special scholarships worth 50 million VND for 4 years.

Along with that, Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored gifts for new students, Vinacam Scholarship Fund - Vinacam Group Joint Stock Company sponsored 3 laptops for new students with special difficulties who lack learning equipment, and the Vietnam-USA Association English Language System sponsored 10 free foreign language scholarships for new students with difficulties.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Tran Anh Tuan thanked Tuoi Tre Newspaper and the Quang Nam - Da Nang "Support to School" Club, and the sponsors for supporting thousands of young people in the city to overcome difficulties and nurture their dreams of university education.

Tuoi Tre Newspaper's 2025 "Support to School" scholarship program is for 1,000 new students with difficult circumstances nationwide with a total budget of about 20 billion VND (not including organization costs; souvenirs, school supplies for new students...). Each scholarship is 15 million VND for new students with difficulties and 20 special scholarships for excellent new students worth 1 billion VND (each scholarship is 50 million VND/4 years).

In addition to 102 new students with difficult circumstances in Da Nang city, the "Support to School" program of Tuoi Tre Newspaper for new students with difficult circumstances is also organized and awarded in the following regions: Central, Central Highlands, Southeast, Mekong Delta; Northern mountainous provinces and cities, North Central and Red River Delta.
