Nam Can Tho University became the 14th university in the country to sign a training cooperation agreement with Tuoi Tre newspaper, contributing to the training of high-quality human resources in the Mekong Delta.

On the afternoon of September 25, at Nam Can Tho University, the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement and training contract between Nam Can Tho University and Tuoi Tre newspaper took place. This is the first university in Can Tho city, the second university in the Mekong Delta and the 14th university nationwide to sign a training cooperation agreement with Tuoi Tre newspaper.

This cooperation is in the form of practical training for students in the following majors: public relations, multimedia communication, foreign language communication and journalism. Nam Can Tho University was established 13 years ago, currently the total number of students is more than 23,000. Up to now, the school has recognized the graduation of more than 16,000 students. In 2025, the school will enroll more than 5,000 students.

After 13 years of establishment, the school has become a multi-disciplinary training school, with modern and synchronous facilities according to standards. The school has developed 45 regular undergraduate majors, 9 master's majors, 3 level I specialized majors; 2 doctoral majors.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Nam Can Tho University will enroll students in 10 majors taught 100% in English, including: International Medicine, Information Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Business Administration, Multimedia Communications, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Dentistry.
