This morning, August 26, Ho Chi Minh City Banking University issued an announcement regarding the handling of candidates who scored higher than the standard score but have not yet received admission notice.
Accordingly, for the majors of law, economic law, economic law (partial English), the minimum total admission score is 18 points (calculated on a 30-point scale). Subject combinations including math and literature, or math or literature must achieve a minimum of 6 points or more on a 10-point scale. For other methods, math and literature scores are converted to the corresponding 10-point scale.
Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City also affirmed its commitment to ensuring that candidates who meet the admission requirements for the majors of law, economic law, and economic law (partial English) will be considered for admission and enrolled at the school in accordance with current legal regulations.
In addition, to ensure the Ministry of Education and Training confirms admission before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, the school requests that candidates with questions about admission results send information to the school's admissions department.
Thus, this announcement has changed in a way that is beneficial to candidates compared to the announcement on August 24. Candidates only need to meet the standard score, with a score of 6 or higher in math or literature or both subjects.
Previously, candidates had to achieve both math and literature scores of 6 or higher. This caused candidates to apply for the literature - history - geography combination with the standard score but failed due to math scores below 6.
