Dak Lak dismissed a principal for repeated violations

On October 8, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province, confirmed that the Department had issued a decision to dismiss Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Hue from the position of Principal of Cao Ba Quat High School (Tan An ward). The incident attracted public attention because Ms. Hue's violations occurred many times and over a long period of time.

Accordingly, Ms. Hue was dismissed from the position of Principal due to being disciplined with a warning; at the same time, Ms. Hue had to transfer to work as a teacher at the school. The Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province requested that Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Hue be responsible for handing over all work to the Vice Principal in charge of Cao Ba Quat High School in accordance with current regulations.

Previously, on September 4, 2025, VNA reporter reported " Dak Lak : Disciplinary warning for Principal violating regulations on financial management". Before being transferred to Cao Ba Quat High School, Ms. Hue held the position of Principal of Chu Van An High School (Buon Ma Thuot ward). During her time working at Chu Van An High School, Ms. Hue committed many violations and was complained by teachers and parents. Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Hue was disciplined with "Reprimand" and "Warning".

In July 2023, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province still transferred Ms. Hue to be the Principal of Cao Ba Quat High School. At her new job, Ms. Hue continued to be complained by parents and teachers regarding the collection of money from students and some other management activities, including the cutting down of trees on campus.

Notably, in the 2024-2025 school year, Cao Ba Quat High School had 16 grade 12 students drop out. Some students were said to have "voluntarily" submitted applications to reserve their results or wrote applications to leave school right before the High School Graduation Exam. After the press reported, some of these 12 students continued to go to school and passed the graduation exam. One student was admitted to Dak Lak Medical College.

In September 2025, the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province signed a decision to discipline Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Hue with a warning. In her responsibility as Principal, Ms. Hue had many shortcomings and violations in implementing regulations on professional regulations, non-budgetary revenues and expenditures, and financial management and public assets.
