On the night of October 25-26, the area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall from 40-80mm, locally very heavy rain over 150mm.
Heavy rains in this area are likely to last until the end of October 2025. The risk level of natural disasters due to heavy rain, tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1.

Flood prevention in low-lying coastal areas of the Southeast region
According to information from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the next 24 hours, the highest water level at Vung Tau station will be 4.15 - 4.20m.
In the next 24-48 hours, the water level in the eastern coast of the South will continue to change slowly. The highest water level at Vung Tau station is likely to reach 4.1 - 4.15m.
Due to the impact of high tides, the eastern coastal area of the South needs to pay attention to prevent high risks of flooding and dike overflow in low-lying coastal and riverside areas, outside the dike, affecting traffic, agricultural production, aquaculture, water pollution and people's lives in the eastern coastal area of the South.
Currently, the highest water level at Vung Tau station is changing slowly. On October 22, the highest tide at Vung Tau station reached 4.17m at 3pm and in the early morning of October 23, it reached 4.16m at 2am.
Flood warning on rivers from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting forecasts that from the evening of October 23 to October 28, there is a possibility of a flood on rivers from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai. During this flood, the peak water level on Kien Giang River, Thach Han River (Quang Tri), Bo River, Huong River (Hue City) and small rivers will rise to alert level 2-alarm level 3, some rivers will be above alert level 3; Gianh River (Quang Tri), Vu Gia-Thu Bon River (Da Nang City), Tra Khuc River, Ve River (Quang Ngai) will rise above alert level 1-alarm level 2, some places will be above alert level 2.
