From the concerns of Pharmacity CEO to the journey 'Doctor Tour - Health Festival'

Behind each green 'Doctor Tour - Health Festival' of the Pharmacity pharmacy system that travels to all regions of the country is the dedication of a leader. 'Doctor Tour' was initiated from the concerns of Mr. Deepanshu Madan, CEO of the Pharmacity pharmacy system, with the desire to ensure that no child is left behind on the road to the future.

On October 15, Mr. Deepanshu Madan - CEO of Pharmacity was present at Bach Mai Hospital to present gifts to support the families of two children in especially difficult circumstances.

The idea for these trips was sparked when Mr. Deepanshu Madan noticed the huge gap in healthcare conditions between urban and rural areas, especially for children. It was the image of children in remote areas having to travel dozens of kilometers to reach a health station, or families still having the mentality of 'only treating when sick', lacking basic knowledge of disease prevention. For him, it was not only a geographical gap, but also a gap in opportunity - the opportunity to grow up healthy and develop comprehensively.

From these concerns, a deeply humane idea was born: if children cannot easily access healthcare, healthcare will proactively seek them out. 'Doctor Tour' was carried out not only to give away pills, but also to build mobile 'health stations', bringing a team of doctors, pharmacists and sincere care to places where they are most needed.

Doctor Tour is present in Vinh Linh - Quang Tri to give scholarships to children in difficult circumstances.

In 2025 alone, the concern has become a vivid reality - the 'Doctor Tour' has traveled to all parts of the country, from Binh Phuoc (old), Thanh Hoa, Ben Tre (old), to Ba Vi, Quang Tri... each stop of the program carries the spirit of sharing and community responsibility. Accompanying the Pharmacity pharmacist team are doctors from frontline hospitals who always kindly examine, provide nutritional advice, disseminate knowledge about family health care as well as give away thousands of gifts and scholarships.

Not only examining and giving gifts, Doctor Tour also provides basic health care knowledge to contribute to the sustainable physical development of Vietnamese children.

But the leader’s passion is not only directed to distant lands. He understands that, right at the heart of the national health system, there are still silent battles taking place every day. It is the battle of sick children being treated at frontline hospitals, where the burden of costs and mental anguish weighs heavily on the families’ shoulders.

During the recent Children's Day, the green shirts of the Pharmacity pharmacy system were also present, bringing unexpected joy to the children being treated at the City Children's Hospital.

On October 15, the 'Doctor Tour' journey had a special stop at the Pediatrics Department, Bach Mai Hospital. This is a natural extension of the mission of 'leaving no child behind'. Because, no matter where they are, a child with health problems needs to be protected.

Here, the Pharmacity pharmacy system, through the hospital's Social Work Department, donated 300 million VND to support the treatment costs for children in especially difficult circumstances. Among them, the story of two children made many people feel sorry: NTK (11 years old, Hanoi) was in critical condition due to hemorrhagic shock due to adrenal hemorrhage and QVL (12 years old, Son La) was in a deep coma due to brain infection and venous thrombosis.

Mr. Deepanshu Madan was present, not only giving gifts and timely material support to the children's families, but also giving words of encouragement and warm handshakes, affirming that the children and their families are not alone on the journey to regain health.

Upon hearing the news, Mr. Deepanshu Madan personally visited the children to inquire about their health.

Sharing his passion, Mr. Deepanshu Madan confided: 'Having worked in many countries, I believe that children are the future and investing in their health is the most sustainable investment. With the Doctor Tour program in particular and Pharmacity in general, we want to give care, trust and opportunities so that all children in all regions can have a healthy start. Every smile of a child, every look of a family when receiving support, that is the biggest motivation for us to continue this journey'.
