The fair was attended by Ambassadors, Charge d’Affaires of ASEAN and Timor Leste diplomatic missions in India, along with all officials, their spouses, family members and thousands of local and international visitors. Notably, all ASEAN member countries participated with colorful booths, bearing their own cultural imprints.

In his opening speech, Malaysian High Commissioner to India, Dato' Muzafar Shah Mustafa, emphasized that the ASEAN Fair is not only a cultural and culinary exchange activity, but also a vivid symbol of the spirit of unity, solidarity and cooperation - core values that make up the identity of the ASEAN community.

He also appreciated the spirit of close coordination between ASEAN Embassies in India in jointly organizing the event, bringing to the public special art performances, along with unique cultural and culinary products, clearly demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and friendship among member countries.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, countries introduced traditional specialties, handicraft products and art performances imbued with national identity.

Vietnam's booth attracted a large number of visitors with famous dishes such as pho, fried spring rolls, shrimp chips and coffee, bringing the rich, sophisticated flavors of Vietnamese cuisine.

“I tried pho, spring rolls, shrimp chips and Vietnamese coffee – all were delicious. I especially liked the spring rolls, the taste was amazing!” said Deepali, a New Delhi resident.

Maurice from Germany expressed his deep impression: “Up to now, I have eaten Vietnamese fried spring rolls 5 times in my life, and every time I have found it wonderful. Vietnamese cuisine really captivates me. I believe that anyone who tries it will love it right away!”

Also at the fair, Vietnamese female officials and their wives brought graceful performances of Ao Dai along with the folk song "Floating Water Fern" accompanied by sweet, deep violin sounds, making the fair space warm and full of Vietnamese character.

To the melody of the song “Hello Vietnam”, Vietnamese Ao Dai models walked gracefully with graceful gestures, captivating even the most fastidious guests, creating a vibrant corner of Vietnamese culture, while sending a message about the sophistication, rich identity and hospitality of Vietnam to international friends.

At the fair, visitors were particularly impressed with the documentary film celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which was vividly shown on a large screen in the event area.

Historical images and familiar melodies of revolutionary songs have created a solemn and proud atmosphere, while helping international friends better understand the journey of struggle for independence and development of the Vietnamese people.

With the massive participation and spirit of solidarity, the ASEAN Cultural and Culinary Fair 2025 is not only a place where the colors and flavors of Southeast Asia converge in the heart of New Delhi, but also a vivid symbol of friendship, cooperation and regional cohesion in the new era./.
