Honoring outstanding works at the 2024 Political Contest to Protect the Party's Ideological Foundation

Speaking at the program, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that in 3 years (from 2021 to 2023), the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation has truly become a highlight in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views.

Through the contest, Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, union members, association members and the masses raise awareness and responsibility for the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints. At the same time, continue to discover, train and foster forces; form a rich, high-quality, highly combative system of documents to directly serve the work of disseminating positive information and fighting against bad and toxic information.

The contest is a vivid proof affirming that Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW of the 12th Politburo on "Strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation" (Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW) has truly come into life.

Deploying the Plan to organize the 2024 Contest, the Head of the Central Propaganda Department affirmed that the Party Committee of the Bloc promptly developed a plan, organized and launched the contest in the entire Party organization in a methodical and scientific manner and achieved many positive results.

"The success of the contest has truly become an important highlight of the Party Committee of the Bloc and its affiliated Party Committees in concretizing Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, thereby affirming the awareness, sense of responsibility and exemplary role of the cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Party Committee of the Bloc in protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation," comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia assessed.

Receiving the opinions and instructions, comrade Nguyen Van The - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc requested that in the coming time, the Party Committee of the Bloc and its subordinate Party Committees closely follow the guidelines of the Central Steering Committee 35 to lead and direct the continued full and profound dissemination to cadres and Party members, especially Party committees and heads of Party committees at all levels, the content of the Central Committee's regulations and instructions on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints.

"Each cadre and party member, especially committee members and secretaries at all levels, must identify this as a fundamental, important, and vital content of the work of building and rectifying the Party and the socialist regime. Therefore, they must regularly uphold the spirit of responsibility, be exemplary, proactive, and resolute in implementing key tasks, solutions, and plans to create a fundamental and clear change in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints within the Party Committee of the Bloc," the Party Committee Secretary of the Bloc emphasized.

At the Program, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First prize, 3 Second prizes, 8 Third prizes, 20 Encouragement prizes for works in the Magazine category; 1 First prize, 3 Second prizes, 8 Third prizes, 20 Encouragement prizes for works in the Newspaper category.

In the Television category, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes, 8 Consolation prizes; and also awarded 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes, 8 Consolation prizes for works in the Radio category.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Block awarded Certificates of Merit to 14 groups and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing the Contest. The Contest Steering Committee honored 3 groups that sponsored funds to support the organization of the Contest in 2024.
