Honoring outstanding collectives and individuals at the 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 2025

The 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2025 honored outstanding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2021 - 2025 period.

On September 25, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism solemnly held the 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 2025.

Attending the Congress were: Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long; Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung; Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Phan Tam; representatives of leaders of a number of central and local departments, ministries, branches; leaders of units under the Ministry and more than 300 delegates who are typical examples in various fields of work.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Minister Nguyen Van Hung and delegates attended the 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2025.

At the Congress, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, awarded the title of Hero of Labor to Mr. Mai Duc Chung.

Previously, the President issued Decision No. 149/QD-CTN to confer the title of Hero of Labor on Mr. Mai Duc Chung, former Head Coach of the National Women's Football Team, Vietnam Football Federation, for his outstanding achievements in creative work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung awarded the title of Labor Hero and presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Mai Duc Chung.

At the Congress, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to three groups under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Accordingly, to recognize the outstanding achievements of the collectives in performing their tasks and leading the emulation movement in 2024 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on July 22, 2025, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1577/QD-TTg on awarding the Government's Emulation Flag to 03 collectives under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, including:

1. Department of Organization and Personnel;

2. Department of Cultural Heritage;

3. Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung presented the Government's Emulation Flag and flowers to three groups under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, namely the Department of Organization and Personnel; the Department of Cultural Heritage and the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theatre.

At the Congress, authorized by the Prime Minister, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung awarded Certificates of Merit of the Prime Minister to 02 groups and 08 individuals.

Accordingly, to recognize the outstanding achievements of collectives and individuals under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in leading, directing, organizing and implementing the National Achievement Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), on September 13, 2025, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2019/QD-TTg on awarding Certificates of Merit to 02 collectives and 08 individuals including:

1. Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition;

2. Department of Planning and Finance.

3. Mr. Ma The Anh - Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition;

4. Mr. Le Hong Phong - Director of Planning and Finance Department;

5. Ms. Nguyen Hang Nga - Deputy Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition;

6. Mr. Vu The Duc - Head of Planning, Statistics and Basic Construction Department, Department of Planning and Finance;

7. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hieu - Head of Secretary - Editorial Department, Ministry Office;
